Yes, Simon Walker is our registered painter. Simon`s knowledge & experience in the painting & construction industry over the years has seen many changes to our industry with many new comers entering into the market.
DO YOU QUOTE OR WORK WEEKENDS?
We are available every Saturday, however we are also available usually from 6am most mornings, which we have found convenient to service, people before standard business hours if required.
DO YOU CHARGE FOR QUOTATIONS?
A detailed inspection by a qualified tradesmen, not salesman is supplied free of charge listing all the required roofing repairs.
HOW MUCH DOES ROOF RESTORATION COST?
Every roof restoration is different. Each job is priced individually depending on the size, pitch, height & amount of required repairs. A detailed fixed quotation is provided on every job.
WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?
When restoring a roof we only use Nu – Tech Roof coatings. With years of experience testing most roof membranes on the market we found Nu – Tech to be superior roof coating product on the market. We use color bond guttering, Monier & Boral Roof tiles and BlueScope steel (color bond) products. We only use the finest materials available regardless of the cost ensuring longevity in all our work.
IS YOUR ROOF PAINT A PAINT OR PROPER ROOF MEMBRANE?
Westcoat only use the very best quality roof membranes from Nu-Tech.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ROOF PAINT & ROOF MEMBRANES?
A roof membrane is a high build elastomeric, flexible coating designed specifically for roof coatings. The film thickness of our roof membrane is typically between two to three times greater than conventional roof paints that are generally watery colours. A roof membrane will expand and contract with hot and cold whether filling in bridging cracks that may occur to the roof tiles.
WHAT ROOF COLOUR CAN I HAVE?
Westcoat has a range of 36 roof paints available in our standard range as well as our insulation paints.
HOW LONG DOES ROOF RESTORATION TAKE?
Again it is dependent on the size and the required repairs but an average restoration takes 2 to 3 days. One day for the pressure cleaning, another for the repairs and the final day for the roof sealing and roof re-coating.
WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE & DO YOU HAVE A QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM OF YOUR PRODUCT?
The roof procedures are available on our roof restoration page on our website. Our quality control of our product is delivered differently to other companies, will employ full time staff only not sub contractors with each staff member performing their job in a three step process, tile change & clean, point ridge caps & roof seal check, then roof inspect & coat with each staff member ensuring the job is ready for the next staff member.
WILL YOU CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES AND IS ALL THE RUBBISH REMOVED FROM SITE?
In 99% of cases your property will be left cleaner than when we arrived. We pride ourselves on it. All of the rubbish and debris will be taken off site.

Yes, all our employees are qualified, competent, experienced and fully insured. Safety is always a priority at Westcoat.
DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?

IS YOUR WORK GUARANTEED?
All our work comes with a comprehensive written 10 year guarantee. Paint suppliers only offer 7 to 12 year warrantees on their paint products TRUE FACT so all and any paints offered by any roof restoration company should not exceed those warrantees. Always ask what paint is going to be used on the roof during the quote process then ring the supplier & find out for yourself, is it a paint or is it a roof membrane.
