Our procedure:
Metal Roof Sheeting
Metal roofing sheeting fades and starts to show signs of rust in under 10 years that could cost you more than you think if not maintained, all rusted metal sheets and tech screws are treated or replaced in a metal roof restoration.
Leaks, flashings, flues & valleys
Most common metal roofing leaks are found to be displaced roof flashings, rusted valleys; or seals around skylights, roof ventilation & flues, all these areas will be noted at the quotation stage and checked in the metal roof restoration stage.
Pressure Cleaning
The metal roof has a build up of dirt, moss & liken that requires pressure cleaning in order to clean and etch the metal roofs surface prior to the metal roof membrane coat. This is the messy part of the metal roof restoration and any mess will be cleaned up at the end of the day, metal roof leaks are minimal to none during the metal roof clean process.
Metal Roof Sealant
A metal roof primer is applied to your metal roof 1 day prior to the painting of your metal roof, the primer is an etch primer giving exceptional bonding to both the metal roof sheet and the applied roof paints.
Metal Roof Paint
Westcoat only uses the highest grade of metal roof paints, which are Nu-Techs acrylic metal roof membranes; they are not like the standard metal roof sealant that is watery with fast wearing features. Nu-Tech `s metal or colour-bond roof seal comes in a range of 36 roof colors; Westcoat applies 2 full coatings of roof paint on all our metal re-coat restorations.
Inspection
Upon completion of your metal roof coating we will check over the complete metal roof sealer to ensure all work has been completed to the highest standard leaving you a shiny water proof roof finish for years to come.
